Classically trained jazz, soul and world music singer/composer Sue McCreeth displays an international jazz sensibility, and she blends the material with an expert eye.
Sue studied with Gary Burton (Berklee College of Music USA) and at the Royal Academy of Music. Songs from her current album, ‘Look Back and Love’ (2017) link her own well regarded compositions with jazz classics by British composers and re-imagined German and French songs.
This promises to be a high energy, engaging and unique event launching her new album ‘Look Back and Love’ with musicians from the cream of the Scottish jazz set.
Sue McCreeth (Singer / Songwriter), Paul Harrison (Piano), Mario Caribe (Double Bass), Stu Brown (Drums).
“… Calmly inventive… boldly ambitious… she has imagination and heart… McCreeth applies her plush mid-range and rhythmic flexibility… boldly punctuated and inventive… sultry… hip.”
